In 2020 we planted olive trees from the variety Arbosana I-43, which you can now adopt and follow their evolution from their very beggining till obtain 2 liters of extra virgin oil from the third year on. As long as these trees do not produce, you will receive the same amount of oil per year from our arbequina variety olive trees.
Variety Arbosana I-43
The Arbosana I-43 variety produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil of intense green color and fruity aroma. In the mouth it is astringent, with sweet, bitter and spicy flavors of medium-high intensity. We could say that it evokes the genuine taste of the olive. It can remind us of smells of freshly cut grass, almond, tomato, walnut, banana or artichoke. The flavors are persistent and pleasant.
Properties
It has a high content of oleic acid (74%) and polyphenols, as well as other compounds that make it resistant to oxidation or rancidity. Components highly beneficial for the health of those who consume it. Olive oil is the emblem of the Mediterranean diet, it is a good ally to reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase good cholesterol (HDL).
Usage
This olive oil is ideal for salads (lettuce, tomato, endive ...) and pastas, as well as in pizzas, tomato bread, toasts, etc. For pastry, it is the perfect variety given its excellent flavor.
